Toto is an artist from the south of France.

He carefully chose TOTO as his artist name. He opted for TOTO as the nickname closest to Thomas and above all to reflect his good humor, his joie de vivre, and laughter with above all simplicity through his work.

He seeks to offer a return to childhood; a certain search for oneself, of these magical moments sometimes forgotten through his creations which, for their part, are very colorful and full of joy.

Color is part of his essence which helps him to maintain joy, the desire to surpass himself and to share good humor each time and to strengthen himself ever more in the face of failure and the vagaries of life which are sometimes very difficult.

He remains discreet about his visual identity to allow him total freedom of expression, this also allows him to truly offer a judgment on the works and not on the artist himself.

He finds his inspiration in travel which allows him to discover new cultures and landscapes. He creates his universe around the characters of his childhood: Mickey, Daisy, Donald...but especially the very well-known one, Scrooge, to whom he was able to find his desire to project himself by working on his facial expressions which reflect his personal character.

Furthermore, this choice to identify by representing many Wall Disney characters was not just a simple choice but an obvious one given its history.

Wall Disney is known for being a storyteller and television star. He and his team have created many of the world's most famous animated characters. One of which is considered to be his alter ego Mickey Mouse which reflects romanticism.

Wall Disney in his cartoons also evokes something personal with the loss of his mother, the feeling of abandonment emerges.

Toto identifies with this a lot since losing his dad. It becomes a strong point on an artistic level, which allows him not to think about this sentimental/affective and personal loss that he transmits through love.

A remark is often made to him: why does he paint a lot about this consumer society?

It targets both children and adults to provide a broader perspective. The consumer society in which we live allows us to transmit the value of work and above all the motivation for success, to give ourselves the means.

He works in music, it helps him a lot to feel the emotions he wants to convey.

Its goal is not to create something new, but to be able to clear the mind and transmit the power of love. Through each work, he tries to convey magical and unforgettable moments spent with family or friends or during different encounters.

He creates pop and contemporary art that alludes to art nouveau and the 20th century.

The artists who inspire him are in particular ALEC MONOPOLY for his originality, but also OBEY for the strong messages he shares, but also more classic like Picasso and VAN GOGH for their technique and their vision that they brought to the world. Art.

He creates all his works using acrylic paint, Posca and spray paint; on any support but mainly on cotton or linen canvases.

He seeks himself day after day to always have a renewal and offer a better version of himself.

His painting is a source of motivation, he aims to share it through his name TOTO; this describes his philosophy of life.

His project is to share his art not only through canvases but also mural creations in the street to implant the TOTO DNA and express his feelings about this increasingly complicated world and give color to everyday life. of each one.
